Interface

The User Interface (UI) is an important part of your gaming experience, and I recommend that you find one you’re pleased with, or put one together yourself to make it fit your needs perfectly. Before I knew what addons meant I was ofc using the Blizzard original UI, but after getting the sweet taste of “freedom” I’m never going to be able to go back to that.

A friend of mine recommended LUI back in WotLK, at first glance it looked complicated. But it took no time to get used to the clean, futuristic and simple UI. Not only does LUI look good, but it’s really simple to “install”, after stuffing it in your interface-folder you open WoW and press the “INSTALL”-button that will cover most of your screen. And then you roll..

The latest version of LUI allows you to customize everything, which is an improvement compared to when I first encountered LUI.

I haven’t customized my “LUI” that much, this is the default color-set named “Paladin”. LUI will by default use your class color, but as I said, you’re free to change this, and even make your own color-sets!

Here’s all the links you need in order to start using LUI (I also put in links to other addons that I feel like I need):
